What is Traditional Chinese Medicine Osteopathy?
Traditional Chinese Medicine Osteopathy, known as “tuina,” is one of the world’s oldest systems of bodywork.
Harry practices a healing art, which is similar to osteopathy as per the traditional Chinese Medical System (Tui Na). He may use gentle structural adjustment techniques, needles if needed, digital acupunture (so pressing acupressure points using his fingers).Tui Na is a hands-on body treatment that uses Chinese taoist principles in an effort to bring the eight principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) into balance.
The practitioner may brush, knead, roll, press, and rub the areas between each of the joints, known as the eight gates, to attempt to open the body’s defensive chi (Wei Qi) and get the energy moving in the meridians and the muscles. This technique has been very effective in managing pain and restoring balance to the whole system.
Harry works both energetically and physically and patients have reported a reduction in structural pain, feeling very light and moving smoothly after seeing him.
